Picking for rusty Garden Art in Indiana

I took a very short business trip to Indianapolis this weekend and my husband accompanied me. It is always good to mix business and fun. On the way home we took route 136 east toward Illinois and fit a few small town antique stores.

We hit two towns, Crawfordsville and Covington. Very nice Midwestern towns. I lucked out and found some fun things for the garden- these old oven doors I envision with plants or mini pots creeping out the holes.

In the little windows - this is just plastic so that will come out- they had a bunch of them- but I stopped at 2.

The next great find was this old rusty hose reel. It came out of an old GM factory.

I can just see a climbing plant winding all over it. It is always nice to still find inexpensive garden art!
